What does ‘research use only’ mean?
All products sold by Clear Peptides are designated Research Use Only (RUO). This means they are intended exclusively for laboratory research purposes and are not approved, cleared, or authorized for use in humans, animals, or any clinical or diagnostic application.
What analytical methods do you use?
All lots are verified by reversed-phase HPLC (RP-HPLC) for purity assessment and by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) for identity confirmation. Testing is conducted by independent third-party accredited laboratories.
What is your minimum purity standard?
We maintain a minimum purity acceptance criterion of ≥98.0% by RP-HPLC peak area. Lots that do not meet this specification are not released for sale.
Are the products sterile?
Products are not supplied as sterile materials. They are research-grade reference materials supplied as lyophilized powders. Sterility testing is not part of the standard QC panel for RUO reference materials.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Shelf life is product-specific and listed on the container label and COA. Most lyophilized materials carry a 24-month expiration date from manufacture, subject to proper storage conditions.
COAs & Documentation
How do I get a Certificate of Analysis?
A lot-specific COA is included with every shipment. You can also retrieve COAs at any time via our COA Lookup page using your lot number. Contact support if you need a COA resent.
Can I request a COA before ordering?
Yes. Contact us with the product name and we can provide a representative COA from a recent lot. Lot-specific COAs for shipped orders are issued at time of fulfillment.
How long are COAs retained?
All COA documents are permanently archived. Analytical raw data and reference samples are retained for a minimum of 24 months from the manufacture date of each lot.
What information is included in a COA?
Each COA includes: product name, lot number, manufacture date, expiration date, net weight, molecular formula, molecular weight, RP-HPLC purity result, ESI-MS identity result, appearance, storage conditions, and a pass/fail determination for each test.

Who can purchase from Clear Peptides?
Products are available to qualified research buyers including academic laboratories, pharmaceutical research departments, CROs, and government institutions. All buyers must be 18+ and have a legitimate research purpose.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Standard transit is 2–5 business days. All orders ship with cold chain packaging including insulated liners and gel ice packs.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we ship within the United States only. International shipping is not available at this time.
What is your return policy?
